April Ross

April Ross, a beach volleyball player from America She is one of a small number of women who had medals won in several Olympics. Ross is scheduled to compete in Tokyo for her 3rd Olympic medal with Alix Klineman, who is a first time Olympian. However, more importantly Ross wants to secure the first Olympic gold. At 39, this could be her last chance to take home an Olympic gold. However, she's confident that winning the gold medal is within reach. Ross said on NBC Boston that he believes If they can play at their absolute best, or even one of their best games, we'll be in the running for gold. In addition, I'm planning to play a bit of chance. Ross was born August 22nd, 1982 on the outskirts of Costa Mesa California. She lived with her family in Costa Mesa. Ross participated in various sports while attending Newport Harbor High School. In addition to indoor volleyball, she played basketball and jogged track as professional athletes. However she was clearly a cut above the rest when it came to the second sport. According to her bio, she played a middle blocker and an outside hitter on the volleyball court throughout her high school career. The award was presented to her as the Gatorade National Circle of Champions player of the year in 1999, for her performance. She also captured the 2000 Orange County Athlete of the Year award in volleyball. Though Ross and Klineman are in the spotlight from 2017 onward, the former was already a big-time participant on the beaches long before their pairing. She has won major tournaments twice with different partners. The other is an iconic player in the world of volleyball. She partnered up with Jennifer Kessy from 2007-2013, and also as Klineman and Kessy's coach. Together together with Kessy Ross, the duo won a World Title in 2009 while competing internationally. In 2012, the team won silver at London's Olympic Games. The legendary Misty Maytreanor team as well as Kerri Jennings won the gold. Ross was Walsh Jennings new partner after May-Treanor's departure. They were awarded the bronze medal in beach volleyball at Rio Olympics the year 2016. Ross participated in the Trojans of USC in her the college years following her graduation from her high school. Ross's Trojans experience was one of the best. As a freshman in 2000 she fought her way to Pac-10 as well as NCAA freshman of the year awards and earned an All-American. She also helped the Trojans reach the Final Four. The Trojans suffered a heartbreaking personal loss during her sophomore year However, she came back her place as an All-American. Over the course of her final two seasons, she took the Trojans to the top of the hill and took home consecutive national championships. She had established herself as an all-time legend winning an award in the year 2003-04. Honda Sports Award as the best female volleyball player. Ross went on to study the study of international relations in USC. Margie Ross, Ross' mother, was never given the opportunity to see her daughter turn into an international beach volleyball star. Margie, Ross's mother, passed away in the year 2001. Ross was still at the age of a USC sophomore. Her breast cancer had been diagnosed. Yet, she is able to cherish her missing parent with love and close. In addition, Margie has always been an energy for her on the shore and in her daily her everyday life.
