Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Suresh (born 17 October 1992) is an Indian actress that appears mainly in Tamil as well as Telugu film, as well as to some Malayalam films. She received the National Film Award in Best Actress category for her role in the role of actress Savitri. Additionally, she was awarded a Filmfare Award South and three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy has the father of filmmaker G. Suresh Kumar and actress Menaka G. Suresh. Her career began as a child actress at the beginning of 2000 and went back to film after studying fashion design. Her first big character as a lead actress in Geethaanjali (2013), which was a Malayalam motion picture. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). The first film she acted in outside Malayalam was Idhu Enna Maayam (2015) with Vikram Prabhu. The film did not perform well in the theater. The director was A. L. Vijay along with Vikram, who released Idhu Enna Maayam in 2015. It didn't go quite well, however it did get released. To make room for larger projects because of her busy schedule, she opted to not participate in certain films which she started to work on. The films included were Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye (a love story) and Deekay's Kavalaivendam. As a result, she was involved in two movies, Rajini Murugan followed by Remo which starred Sivakarthikeyan. Dhanush also played the role of Thodari as Thodari in Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. The film has been delayed since 2015 and reports suggest the film will release after September, 2020 under the new name Janakitho Nenu. The film's debut was Nenu Sailaja in 2016 starring actor Ram Pothineni. Keerthy was cast as Vijay in Bairavaa by Bharathan, which premiered on 17 January 2017. In 2017, she also made appearances in Tamil films Paambhu sattai and Telugu film Nenu Local.
